Who are the Knights of Columbus?

The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service order with over 2 million members. It was founded on the principals of charity, unity and fraternity with the goal of bringing financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members of the local parish and community. Due to the support the Knights have provided to the Church and local communities over the years, Pope John Paul II referred to the Knights as the “strong right arm of the Church”.

About Our Council

We are a group of Catholic men who follow the teachings of the Church and support our parish, the Church of St. Luke and the surrounding community. Our sole mission is to put faith and charity into action. Through our charitable works, we help citizens with developmental disabilities, we conduct food drives, we help the Pregnancy Resource Center with its programs, we support the needy of our Community Meals Program, and we hold Fishing Contests for children of the community.

Council Meetings

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday’s of the month at 7:30 PM in the Barrett Center located at 818 Main Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360.
